Pru Cook is an experienced consultant with more than ten years’ experience in agricultural extension, project management and grant writing. She was raised on a mixed farm at Diapur in Victoria’s Wimmera, and is now raising her own family in the same region.
Pru began her career in agricultural extension with the Department of Primary Industries (now Agriculture Victoria). She worked with the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) in Canberra developing and implementing its digital extension strategy, and most recently for Birchip Cropping Group (BCG) where she managed extension projects and oversaw its research and extension program.
Pru is a member of the GRDC Southern Region Panel, Regional Development Australia’s Grampians Committee and has previously been the representative for the West Wimmera on the Victorian Farmers Federation Grains Council.
